Appendix 2004 Earnings Guidance* Exelon's adjusted (non-GAAP) operating earnings for 2004 are expected to be in the range of $2.68 to $2.83 per share. Our outlook for adjusted (non-GAAP) operating earnings excludes income resulting from investments in synthetic fuel producing facilities, the cumulative effect of adopting FIN 46-R and any profit or loss related to Boston Generating. Giving consideration to these factors, we estimate 2004 GAAP earnings will fall in a range of $2.78 to $2.93 per share.
