PLDT and MKP successfully conclude
collective bargaining agreement negotiations
MANILA, 16th December 2024 – PLDT Inc. (“PLDT”) (PSE: TEL) (NYSE: PHI): Following the assumption of jurisdiction over the labor dispute by the Secretary of the Department of Labor and Employment (“DOLE”), PLDT and the Manggagawa ng Komunikasyon ng Pilipinas (“MKP”) successfully concluded their Collective Bargaining Agreement (“CBA”) negotiations for the 2024–2027 cycle. The parties have formalized their agreement by executing a Memorandum of Agreement (“MOA”) in the presence of the DOLE Secretary and other key officials of the DOLE.
The MOA is subject to ratification by the members of the bargaining unit within 60 days from signing. Once ratified, the CBA will take effect from November 9, 2024 and will remain in force until November 8, 2027.
