Item 8.01 Other Events
On December 20, 2012 we issued a press release announcing that we filedan Investigational New Drug application (“IND”) with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to allow clinical testing of Acura’s hydrocodone bitartrate with acetaminophen formulated with Aversion® Technology and that clinical testing can commence under the IND 30-days following the IND filing unless questions are raised by the FDA. A copy of our press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by reference herein.
