On March 18, 2015, Guy A. Childs notified The Spectranetics Corporation (the “Company”) of his decision to resign from his position as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, effective upon the completion of the transition of his duties and responsibilities to a successor. Mr. Childs will continue to serve as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer until his successor has been hired. Thereafter, Mr. Childs will serve in a new role as a Vice President of the Company, which will include treasury, investor relations and financial planning duties.
A copy of the Company’s press release announcing the Company’s Chief Financial Officer transition is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
