On January 11, 2013, China Shen Zhou Mining & Resources, Inc. (the “Company”) received a letter from NYSE MKT LLC advising that the Company’s plan to regain compliance previously submitted to the Exchange had been approved with an extended compliance date of April 24, 2013 (the “Letter”). On January 16, 2013, the Company issued a press release announcing the acceptance of the plan as set forth in the Letter. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
