Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On September 20, 2010, AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Inc., or the Company, cancelled its scheduled presentation at the UBS 2010 Global Life Sciences Conference on September 22, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The Company cancelled the presentation due to an upcoming meeting with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or the FDA, respecting the recent creation of a Tracked Safety Issue for Feraheme® (ferumoxytol) Injection in the FDA’s Document Archiving, Reporting and Regulatory Tracking System regarding the potential safety signals of cardiac disorders in patients receiving Feraheme®.
