On April 16, 2008, Lakeland Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release calling on Seymour Holtzman to withdraw his notice of nomination, dated March 17, 2008, in connection with the Company’s 2008 Annual Meeting of Stockholders, and terminate his proxy contest against the Company. A copy of the Company’s press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated herein by reference.
