Item 5.03 Amendments to Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws; Change in Fiscal Year.
Effective as of July 20, 2006, the Bylaws of PPG Industries, Inc. were amended to reflect the dissolution of the Investment Committee of the Board of Directors, and the establishment of the Technology and Environment Committee of the Board of Directors. This description of the amendment to the Bylaws of the Company is qualified in its entirety by reference to the Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Company, which are set forth as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and incorporated by reference herein.
