Item 8.01. Other Events.
On December 27, 2007, PPG Industries, Inc. announced that affiliates of Platinum Equity had notified PPG of their intent to terminate, after December 31, 2007, their contract under which they agreed to purchase PPG’s automotive original equipment manufacture (OEM) glass and automotive replacement (ARG) glass and services businesses. A copy of the Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.
