Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 27, 2005, TGC Industries, Inc. (“TGC” or the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the deployment of a fourth seismic crew resulting from the continuing increase in demand for its oil and gas exploration 3-D seismic services.
