On October 21, 2004, AmeriCredit Corp. issued a press release reporting on its results of operations and financial condition for its first fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2004. This press release is furnished in this report, pursuant to this Item 2.02, as Exhibit 99.1.
The company will conduct its quarterly conference call October 21, 2004 at 5:30 p.m. Interested persons may register to listen to the call at the company’s website, www.americredit.com, under “Investors,” “Conference Calls.” The call will also be available on demand at this website.
