Item 5.02.
Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors;
Appointment of Principal Officers.
On June 27, 2005, Central Virginia Bankshares, Inc. (the “Company”), was informed by one of its directors, Charles B. Goodman, of his intention to retire from the board of directors effective April 1, 2006.
Item 8.01
Other Events.
One June 24, 2005, the Company’s principal subsidiary, Central Virginia Bank, closed its former main office and one branch. The staff have been combined and relocated to its recently completed new main office, located nine tenths of a mile east of the closed offices. The new facility houses a retail branch and drive in facility on the ground floor and consolidates all lending functions as well as some executive offices on the second floor.
