Item 8.01. Other Events
On August 16, 2012, Response Biomedical Corp., or the Company, issued a press release regarding the status of the implementation of the previously announced consolidation of the issued and outstanding common shares of the Company, which was approved by the Company’s shareholders on June 19, 2012. The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
