EMCORE Corporation (the “Company”) announced today that after ten years of service on its Board of Directors, Robert Louis-Dreyfus resigned his seat on the Board on October 30, 2007. Mr. Louis-Dreyfus advised the Board that his present schedule did not permit him enough time to devote sufficient attention to the Company’s business and affairs.
