CLEARLY CANADIAN ANNOUNCES NEGOTIATION OF EQUITY FINANCING
AND APPOINTMENT OF CFO
VANCOUVER, B.C., June 23, 2006 — CLEARLY CANADIAN BEVERAGE CORPORATION (OTCBB: CCBEF) announced that since the week of June 5, 2006 it has been in negotiations with several parties to complete a non-brokered private placement into the company by way of a sale of common shares of the Company at a price of US $2.75 per share. The company is seeking this financing to bolster many of its marketing initiatives as the company moves into its summer selling season. The company expects to complete this financing by the end of June, 2006.
Clearly Canadian also announced that Matthew Hoogendoorn, CA, CPA (Illinois) has been appointed the Chief Financial Officer of the Company, replacing the position held by the Company’s President, Brent Lokash, since November 2006. Mr. Hoogendoorn brings over 27 years of accounting and strategic financial experience to the Company.
