Mr. Gerard A. Gallagher, Jr, who has served as a Director of Ecology and Environment, Inc. (the “Company”) since 1986, has announced his decision not to stand for re-election as a Director. Mr. Gallagher’s tenure as a Director will terminate effective with the Company’s Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on April 20, 2017. Mr. Gallagher’s decision was for personal reasons, and did not result from any disagreement with the Company’s Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is conducting a search for candidates to be considered for nomination to stand for election to succeed Mr. Gallagher.
