On May 3, 2007, the Registrant issued a news release to announce the results of its Annual Meeting of Shareholders held on May 2, 2007. It was noted that i) the proposed slate of 15 directors was elected, ii) Elliott Davis, PLLC, had been ratified as the Registrant’s independent auditors for 2007, and iii) the First Bancorp 2007 Equity Plan was approved.
