On July 2, 2021, Abbas Hussain informed Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (“Teva”) that, in light of his new role and increased responsibilities as Chief Executive Officer of Vifor Pharma Group, he would resign from Teva’s Board of Directors, effective as of July 6, 2021. Mr. Hussain has served as a director since September 2020, and was a member of the Audit Committee, the Finance and Investment Committee and the Science and Technology Committee.
Mr. Hussain’s decision to resign as a director was not due to any disagreements with Teva on any matter relating to Teva’s operations, policies or practices.
