ILX RESORTS REPORTS THIRD QUARTER RESULTS
PHOENIX, ARIZONA – November 14, 2007 - ILX RESORTS INCORPORATED (AMEX: ILX)a leading developer, operator and marketer of upscale flexible-stay vacation ownership resorts in the western United States, announced a net loss for the third quarter of 2007 of $290,000 or $0.09 per share both basic and diluted. This compares with net income of $637,000 or $0.18 per share in the third quarter 2006.
Revenue for the three months ended September 30, 2007 was $12.1 million as compared to $13.7 million for the comparable period in 2006. The decrease in revenue includes reduced sales at the Company’s Sedona and Rancho Mañana sales offices. The Rancho Mañana office was closed in June 2007 in conjunction with the settlement of litigation related to the property.
Third quarter 2006 results included a one-time gain on the sale of partnership interests of $583,000.
“The disappointing third quarter results are in large part due to significantly reduced closing rates at our Sedona sales office in July and August. We are satisfied with the changes we have made to address the issues in this office and look forward to continuation of the positive trend in sales and contribution margins the Sedona sales office is now experiencing,” said Joe Martori, Chairman and CEO. He continued, “Concurrently, we have effected cost reductions in general and administrative and other operations which will further positively impact profitability.”
