Explanation of Responses:

1. Deemed acquisition and disposition to the issuer of shares of stock underlying Restricted Stock Units upon automatic vesting and cash settlement of such Units (see footnote 2). No shares were actually issued to the reporting person, nor did the reporting person dispose of any shares.

2. Restricted Stock Units granted March 1, 2018 pursuant to the Albany International Corp. 2003 Restricted Stock Unit Plan. Each Restricted Stock Unit entitles the holder to receive the cash equivalent of one share of Class A Common Stock as the time of vesting.

3. 7,856 Restricted Stock Units (plus related dividend units) vest on March 1, 2019; 7,856 Restricted Stock Units (plus related dividend units) vest on March 1, 2020; and 7,855 Restricted Stock Units (plus related dividend units) vest on March 1, 2021.

4. Includes dividend units accrued on Restricted Stock Units on April 6, 2018; July 9, 2018; October 5, 2018; and January 8, 2019.
