On June 22, 2009, China Wind Systems, Inc., a Delaware corporation (the “Company”), announced the recent receipt of a government grant in the amount of RMB 1 million (approximately US$146,000). A copy of the press release is being filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
