AllianceBernstein Holding L.P. (“Holding”) is furnishing a news release (“News Release”) issued on January 10, 2008. Holding announced its expectation that full year 2007 earnings per Holding Unit will be approximately $0.30 lower than prior guidance primarily due to much lower-than-expected hedge fund performance fees and greater net mark-to-market losses on investments held for employee compensation plans in the News Release. In addition, AllianceBernstein L.P. announced its preliminary assets under management as of December 31, 2007. The News Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.01.
