Interlink Electronics Names KPMG LLP
As Independent Public Accountant
CAMARILLO, CA, July 23, 2002– Interlink Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ: LINK), a world leader in the development of intuitive interface technologies and solutions for business and home applications, today announced that, effective immediately, the Board of Directors has appointed KPMG LLP as the company’s independent public accountants on the recommendation of its Audit Committee. Prior to the selection of KPMG LLP, Arthur Andersen LLP served as the company’s independent public accountant.
Interlink said the decision to change auditors was not the result of any disagreement between the company and Andersen on any matters of accounting principles or practices, financial statement disclosure or auditing scope or procedure.
