Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 29, 2008, Interstate Bakeries Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Missouri has ruled that the Company’s First Amended Disclosure Statement contains adequate information for the purpose of soliciting creditor approval for the Company’s proposed Plan of Reorganization, and that the Company will continue to explore alternatives to maximize creditor recovery in the event that a Plan of Reorganization cannot be implemented. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated by reference herein.
