Item 8.01. Other Events.
Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: PGNX) has exercised its option under its Termination and Transition Agreement with Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, a division of Wyeth LLC (a Pfizer Inc. subsidiary), to have Wyeth continue to commercialize RELISTOR® methylnaltrexone bromide in the United States through March 31, 2011. As previously announced, Wyeth is continuing to market and sell RELISTOR ex-U.S. through the same date, subject to early transition options available to Progenics.
