On November 18, 2019, the Board of Directors of Middlefield Banc Corp., Middlefield, Ohio, approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per common share to shareholders of record on November 29, 2019, payable on December 13, 2019. This cash dividend represents a 7.1% increase over the cash dividend paid during the third quarter of 2019, adjusted for the2-for-1 stock split effected on November 8, 2019.

Middlefield Banc Corp. is a bank holding company with total assets of $1.28 billion at September 30, 2019. The Company’s subsidiary bank, The Middlefield Banking Company, operates 15 full-service banking centers and one loan production office at locations in Northeast Ohio and Central Ohio.
