Item 8.01 Other Events.
On April 26, 2007, Patriot Scientific Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the intent of its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, David H. Pohl, to retire from the position of chief executive officer as soon as a new chief executive officer is appointed. Mr. Pohl will continue to serve as chairman of the board of directors. Carlton M. Johnson Jr., Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Company’s Board of Directors, is leading the search for a new chief executive officer candidate. The press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this filing.
