CLEARONE FILES LAWSUIT ALLEGING THEFT OF TRADE SECRETS

Salt Lake City, UT - January 8, 2007 - ClearOne Communications, Inc. (OTC: CLRO.OB) said today it has filed a lawsuit in the Third Judicial District Court, Salt Lake County, State of Utah against WideBand Solutions, Inc., Biamp Systems Corporation, Inc., and two individuals; one a former employee and one previously affiliated with ClearOne. The Complaint brings claims against different combinations of the defendants for, among other things, misappropriation of certain trade secrets, breach of contract, conversion, unjust enrichment and intentional interference with business and contractual relations.
