Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 31, 2014, Philip N. Longorio notified the Board of Directors of TETRA Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) that he will resign from his position as Senior Vice President, effective February 14, 2014.
Mr. Longorio, Senior Vice President for ESG, has accepted the position of President of Scientific Drilling International, an independent international directional drilling company. Mr. Longorio has been an executive at TETRA for six years, during which time he successfully led ESG, which includes the Company’s Fluids and Production Testing businesses, to achieve significant domestic and international growth in their operations. During a transition period, Stuart M. Brightman, President and CEO of the Company, will assume Mr. Longorio’s duties with regard to ESG on an interim basis.
