Item 8.01. Other Events.
Harvest Natural Resources, Inc. issued a press release today announcing that its Board of Directors has decided to extend the Company’s existing Rights Agreement for 10 years to April 28, 2015. The existing Rights Agreement was implemented in April 1995 and, by its own terms, was scheduled to expire on April 28, 2005.
The foregoing is qualified by reference to the Press Release which is furnished as an exhibit to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
