Item 8.01 Other Events.
Harvest Natural Resources, Inc.'s 80-percent owned Venezuelan subsidiary, Harvest Vinccler, C.A., received $51.3 million in U.S. Dollars and 36.8 billion Bolivars (the local Venezuelan currency equivalent to $17.1 million at the official exchange rate of 2,150 Bolivars for each Dollar) as payment for its 2005 third quarter deliveries of oil and gas to Petroleos de Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA).
