(b) At a meeting of the Farmer Mac Board of Directors on April 4, 2008, Chairman Fred L. Dailey advised that, as the Republican candidate for U.S. Representative in Congress for the 18th District of Ohio, he was resigning from the Farmer Mac Board with an expected effective date of June 30, 2008, subject to consultations with the Administration that could shorten or extend the effective date. Chairman Dailey also announced that he would not attend the Annual Meeting of Stockholders and the meeting of the Board of Directors in June 2008.
