On April 16, 2008, Bridge Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release reporting the unaudited earnings results for the first quarter 2008, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.2 of this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference. Bridge Bancorp, Inc. announced today that it has filed an application to have its shares of common stock listed on The NASDAQ Stock Market. Bridge Bancorp, Inc., with assets of approximately $600 million, is the publicly-held holding company for Bridgehampton National Bank, which was established in 1910. The Company’s stock is currently traded on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board, which is an electronic market owned and operated by NASDAQ. The shares trade under the symbol “BDGE”. A copy of the press release announcing the application is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. The information furnished under this Item 7.01 of this Current Report on Form 8-K, including Exhibit 99.1, shall not be deemed to be “filed” for purposes of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
