On February 16, 2012, New Hampshire Thrift Bancshares, Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that on February 15, 2012 the Company repurchased the warrant previously issued to the U.S. Department of the Treasury in connection with the Company's participation in the Capital Purchase Program. The press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
