Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition
On October 13, 2006, New Hampshire Thrift Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) announced its earnings for the nine months ended September 30, 2006. A copy of the press release dated October 13, 2006, describing the second quarter earnings is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
On January 19, 2007, the Company announced its earnings for the 2006 fiscal year. A copy of the press release dated January 19, 2007, describing the fourth quarter earnings is attached as Exhibit 99.2.
