On October 7, 2012, the Company’s Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Dr. Michael B. Heeley from the Company’s Board of Directors, as well as from its Audit Committee, Compensation Committee and Independent Special Committee.
The reasons underlying Dr. Heeley’s resignation are detailed in his resignation letter, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated in its entirety herein.
