DRI Corporation Announces Mobitec® Product Order From Australian Bus Manufacturer
Order Valued at Approximately $750,000 USD
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DRI Corporation (DRI) (NASDAQ: TBUS), a digital communications technology leader in the domestic and international surface transportation and transit security markets, announced today that the Company’s Mobitec Group subsidiary in Sweden has received through its business unit in Australia an order for Mobitec® electronic destination sign systems valued at approximately $750,000 USD.
David L. Turney, the Company’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, said: “The Mobitec® products were ordered by Volgren, the largest bus body building company in Australia, for new bus vehicles being built on behalf of Brisbane Transport in Queensland. Deliveries are expected to commence in second quarter 2008 and to conclude in second quarter 2009. We continue to see great opportunities in the international market.”
