DRI Corporation Announces Mobitec® Product Orders in Australia
Combined Orders Total More Than $2.1 Million USD
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--January 21, 2009--DRI Corporation (DRI) (NASDAQ: TBUS), a digital communications technology leader in the domestic and international surface transportation and transit security markets, announced today that the Company’s Mobitec Group in Sweden has received orders for Mobitec® electronic information display systems and other equipment from a major bus vehicle manufacturer in Australia on behalf of the bus fleets in Brisbane and Sydney. The combined orders total more than $2.1 million USD.
- For the Brisbane bus fleet, Mobitec® products ordered include MobiLED® light-emitting diode signs, control units, and cables. Deliveries are expected to commence in 2009 and to conclude in 2011.
- For the Sydney bus fleet, Mobitec® products ordered include MobiDOT® flip-dot signs, control units, and cables. Deliveries are expected to commence in 2009 and to conclude in 2010.
