This form or one substantially equivalent hereto must be used to accept the Exchange Offer of The Reader’s Digest Association, Inc. (“Reader’s Digest”) made pursuant to the Prospectus, dated [ ], 2004 (the “Prospectus”), if (1) certificates for the outstanding 6.5% Senior Notes due 2011 (the “Old Notes”) of Reader’s Digest are not immediately available, (2) the Old Notes, the Letter of Transmittal or any other required documents cannot be delivered to the Exchange Agent (as defined below) prior to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on [ ], 2004 (as it may be extended, the “Expiration Date”) or (3) the procedures for book-entry transfer cannot be complied with prior to the Expiration Date. Such form may be delivered or transmitted by telegram, telex, facsimile transmission, mail or hand delivery to JPMorgan Chase Bank (the “Exchange Agent”) as set forth below. In addition, in order to use the guaranteed delivery procedure to tender Old Notes pursuant to the Exchange Offer, a completed, signed and dated Letter of Transmittal (or facsimile thereof) or electronic instructions sent to the Depository Trust Company must also be received by the Exchange Agent prior to 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on the Expiration Date.
