Item 2.05. Costs Associated with Exit or Disposal Activities.
On October 22, 2010, Granite Construction Incorporated (the “Company”) committed to a reduction in force of approximately 227 employees, or approximately 13 percent of its salaried workforce. On October 25, 2010, the Company issued a press release announcing this initiative.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
