On June 6, 2006, The Wet Seal, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the resignation of Henry D. Winterstern as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”), effective as of June 6, 2006. Mr. Winterstern will continue to serve as a director of the Board. Joel N. Waller, Chief Executive Officer and President of the Company, has been appointed by the Board to replace Mr. Winterstern as Chairman of the Board.
