POLYMET ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT PUBLISHED
Hoyt Lakes, Minnesota, October 28, 2009 - PolyMet Mining Corp. (TSX: POM; NYSE AMEX: PLM) (“PolyMet” or the “Company”) announced today that the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) have completed the PolyMet draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
The draft EIS is available via a link from PolyMet’s website (www.polymetmining.com) and on the DNR’s site at:www.dnr.state.mn.us/input/environmentalreview/polymet/index.html.
Notice of publication in the Environmental Quality Board Monitor on November 2 and the Federal Register on November 6 will signal the start of the public comment period.
