Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On April 4, 2014, Lighting Science Group Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the election of James L. Jones, a retired General and former White House National Security Advisor to President Obama, to the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”), effective as of April 1, 2014. Mr. Jones was appointed by the Board as a director to fill a vacancy on the Board. A copy of the press release announcing the election of Mr. Jones to the Board is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated by reference herein.
