Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(d) On December 13, 2007, the Board of Directors of Rentech, Inc. appointed Dr. Ronald M. Sega as a director of Rentech. In connection with his appointment, Rentech’s Board of Directors granted Mr. Sega a vested option to purchase 20,000 shares of Rentech’s common stock.
A press release announcing the election of Mr. Sega is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
