Section 8 – Other Events
Item 8.01 Other Events
On May 30, 2006, pursuant to Assignment No. 10 of Receivables in Additional Accounts (the “Assignment No. 10 of Receivables in Additional Accounts”), between Chase Bank USA, National Association, a national banking association (the “Bank”) and the Chase Issuance Trust, a Delaware statutory trust (the “Trust”), the Bank designated and sold accounts with an initial approximate aggregate amount of credit card receivables of $3.0 billion to the Trust.
On May 30, 2006, pursuant to Assignment No. 10 of Receivables in Additional Asset Pool One Accounts (the “Assignment No. 10 of Receivables in Additional Asset Pool One Accounts” and together with the Assignment No. 10 of Receivables in Additional Account, “Addition No. 10”), between the Trust and Wells Fargo Bank, National Association, a national banking association, as collateral agent (the “Collateral Agent”), the Trust designated and pledged accounts with an initial approximate aggregate amount of credit card receivables of $3.0 billion to the Collateral Agent.
The Bank services the receivables that are included in Assignment No. 10 and will continue to service the accounts associated with such receivables following Assignment No. 10.
The management of the Bank believes that Assignment No. 10 will have no material effect on the Trust or the asset backed securities issued by the Trust.
