Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On January 21, 2010, the board of directors of McIntosh Bancshares, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Darren Cantlay to serve as Secretary and Chief Financial Officer of the Company.
Mr. Cantlay, age 39, graduated from Valdosta State University in December 1994 with a Bachelor of Business Administration: Accounting. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Bank of Ellijay, Ellijay, Georgia, from November 2005 to September 2009, and the Chief Financial Officer of Appalachian Bancshares, Ellijay, Georgia from January 2003 to November 2005.
