Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure
On December 22, 2008, Cephalon, Inc. (“Cephalon”) announced to its employees that it has achieved $1 billion in full year 2008 gross sales of PROVIGIL® (modafinil) Tablets [C-IV]. Cephalon’s net sales of PROVIGIL for the full year 2008 will be announced as part of its full year 2008 earnings release in February 2009 and in its Annual Report on Form 10-K for full year 2008.
