THE JONES GROUP INC. ANNOUNCES $300 MILLION OFFERING
OF SENIOR NOTES DUE 2019
NEW YORK— March 2, 2011 — The Jones Group Inc. (“Jones”) (NYSE: JNY) today announced its intent to commence an offering of $300 million of Senior Notes due 2019. The offering will be made under an effective shelf registration statement filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The proceeds of the offering will be used for repayment of debt and general corporate purposes.
Citi, J.P. Morgan, BofA Merrill Lynch, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey and Wells Fargo Securities will serve as Joint Book-Running Managers on this transaction.
