Item 8.01Other Events.
On June 19, 2008, Moody’s Investors Service (“Moody’s”) lowered Ambac Assurance Corporation’s financial strength ratings to ‘Aa3’ from ‘AAA’ and placed the ratings on negative outlook . Moody’s also lowered the ratings on the holding company, Ambac Financial Group, Inc. (“Ambac”), to ‘A3’ from ‘Aa3’ and placed the ratings on negative outlook.
Ambac issued a press release commenting on these rating actions taken by Moody’s. A copy of the press release, filed as Exhibit 99.01 to this Current Report on Form 8-K, is incorporated by reference herein.
