Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On October 30, 2007, Sepracor Inc. (“Sepracor”) announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2007. The full text of the press release issued in connection with the announcement is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 30, 2007, Sepracor announced that it recently completed an evaluation of the structure, size and allocation of its direct sales force and, as a result, has decided to reduce its sales force by approximately 300 positions.
